"In Taiwan, we could only learn history in books. But it is a completely different thing to visit the historical sites in person and see the relics with your own eyes," said Jiang Cheng-pu, a youth from Taiwan, during a visit to Central China's Wuhan city.
Jiang was among a group of youths from Taiwan region as well as the Chinese mainland who recently visited Wuhan in a cross-Strait exchange event.
During the six-day event, they experienced the rich cultural and historical heritage as well as the modern side of the city.
