Former senior official of volleyball under investigation

Li Quanqiang, former head of General Administration of Sport of China's volleyball administrative center, is being investigated for suspected severe violations of Party disciplines and national laws, the country's top anti-corruption watchdogs announced on Friday.
The announcement has been disclosed online by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision.
Public information shows that Li, 62, a native of Liaoning province, had worked for the country's sports bodies for about four decades. From February 2017 to August 2022, he served as head of the volleyball administrative center.
