After setting a new national record during a women's 60m hurdles semifinal at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, and topping the Asian women's rankings last month, Chinese sprinting star Wu Yanni said her next goal is to break the Asian record and have a top eight finish at the next Olympics. During an exclusive interview with China Daily online show Tracking Success, Wu said for the past few years, setbacks and challenges have taught her lessons in passion and perseverance, adding that, if we push ourselves hard enough, everyone has the potential to shine on the biggest stage.
