China has issued another alert for students planning to study in the Philippines, citing poor safety conditions and an unsupportive environment for overseas study in the country, the Ministry of Education said on Saturday.
The ministry said there have been an increasing number of vicious incidents targeting Chinese nationals in the Philippines recently.
It has reminded Chinese students to carefully evaluate safety risks, raise awareness, and cautiously plan their studies before going to the country, according to an overseas study alert issued by the ministry.
In July, the ministry had issued an alert for Chinese students going to the country to study, citing safety concerns and increasing crimes committed against Chinese nationals.
